Cracks within PTI emerge amid allegations of buying ticket for KP local body polls

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Nephew of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Arbab Shahzad on Monday while levelling serious allegations said that he paid millions of rupees to get PTI’s ticket for Peshawar Mayorship seat.

The differences in the PTI have come to the fore in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where ministers and workers come face to face on the issue of losing in local body elections, while the video messages of workers accusing each other also came out.

Arbab Muhammad Ali, nephew of SAPM Arbab Shahzad in his video message said that he came to know through media reports that KP Governor took Rs 50 million and Kamran Bangash took Rs 20 million, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan should get this matter investigated.

Responding to the allegations, PTI candidate Rizwan Bangash hinted at legal action and said that Arbab Muhammad served as a Town Nazim and his brother is an MNA while his uncle is an adviser of the PM.

He said that PTI grabbed just 195 votes out of 2912 votes, adding, “I will take legal action against the allegations of Arbab Muhammad Ali.”

Bangash went on to say that it seems that Arbab Muhammad Ali has lost his mental balance due to the shock of not getting the mayor s ticket.
