PM Imran in Lahore on day-long visit

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan is visiting Lahore today to hold important meetings with provincial leadership.
According to details, PM Imran Khan held meeting with Governor Punjab who briefed the premier about his visit to United Kingdom. Chaudhry Sarwar said that everyone appreciated Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process.
On the occasion, Prime Minister said that Pakistan stands with peace and country made sacrifices to end the terrorism.
Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar also briefed Prime Minister about progress made in investigation of Sialkot incident.
During the meeting, Prime Minister directed to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
CM Punjab said that steps are being taken in every department and development budget of the province has been increased by 80 billion rupees to Rs645 billion.
Imran Khan lauded steps taken by the Punjab government for health and said that health card is exemplary program of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
The premier also directed to focus more on program of public welfare and priority completion of under construction projects.
It merits mention that the premier will hold meetings with IG Punjab and Chief Secretary and a meeting regarding Kamyab Jawan Program will be held under the chair of Imran Khan.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also launch Naya Pakistan Sehat Program.
