ECP fines Bilawal, other PPP members on violating code of conduct

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), on Friday fined Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his other party members on violating the code of conduct.

According to the details shared by ECP, Bilawal and his party members had violated the code of conduct while leading mass demonstration before the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) local body elections.

Earlier on Nov 30, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had celebrated 52nd Foundation Day with vigour and commitment to the ideology for which the leadership and workers sacrificed their lives.

Moreover, a public meeting was held to mark the 52nd Foundation Day of PPP in Muzaffarabad. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leaders addressed the gathering.

In his message on the eve of Foundation Day, Bilawal Zardari had reiterated commitment to founding principles and also vowed to set a new direction for the country.

"Only a strong people’s agenda can pull Pakistan out of democratic, economic and governance crisis," he said.
