Shahbaz seeks salvage of govt's electricity price hike decision

LAHORE (Dunya News) - President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), on Thursday sought salvage of federal government’s decision on electricity price hike.

According to details, the opposition leader slammed the government on continuously increasing the prices of electricity across country. He negated government’s decision of increasing the electricity price by Rs4.74 for December. He mentioned that in ‘cheap Pakistan’ every month the electricity prices are hiked.

He went on to add that the current government has been proved as the corrupt and ineligible administration under whose tenure the inflation culminated while the per capita income remained stagnant.

He said that due to the production of electricity by expensive fuel, the government is favoring mafias. The country is already suffering by inflation due to price hike introduced in fuels. He added that end of the government’s rule could only ensure prosperity of country.
