Dunya News team went to Iranian Consulate on reports of police misbehaviour with the visitors.

Dunya News Quetta bureau got the information that the police officials deployed outside Iranian Consulate were taking bribe from the people coming to the consulate to get Iranian visa.When Dunya News team went for the coverage, police officials brutally tortured Fareedulah, reporter, Khuram Shahzd, cameraman, Inayatullah, driver and detained them in Bijli Road Police Station.Talking to Dunya News, Deputy Inspector General Hamid Shakeel said that an action would be taken against the policemen, if they were found guilty of torturing the Dunya News team.Journalists gathered outside Bijli Road Police Station and registered protest against the brutality of police.Meanwhile,Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has condemned the police torture on Dunya News team.
