Passengers have to suffer a great deal due to the arrival and departure of trains across the country
According to Railways sources, Hazara Express, Shahrukne Alam Express, Awami Express and Super Express departed for their destination. Super Express departed with a seven-hour delay.According to sources, Khyber Express is seven and a half hours late, Bolan Express seven hours, Fareed Express five and a half hours, Karachi Express five hours, Allama Iqbal Express four and a half hours, Karakoram Express three and a half hours, Taiz Gam and Qlandar Express three hours and Milat Express is more than two hours late.Meanwhile, the Railways crisis has deepened further and various trains traveling from Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi to Lahore were delayed by several hours.Earlier, Karakorum Express which travels from Karachi to Lahore has been stranded at the Janiwala Railway Station due to engine failure. Alternative engine was not provided to carry the train to Lahore.Whereas, Karachi Express arrival to Lahore was delayed by two hours, Quetta Express will reach Lahore 6 hours late while Jafar Express which travels from Quetta to Lahore was delayed by two hours.The delay in arrival and departure of the trains during the Ramazan, however, creating more problems for the faithfuls.
