PM Imran directs to expedite process of legislation in public interest
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to expedite the process of legislation in the public interest during the new parliamentary year.
According to details, a meeting was held between Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Dr Arif Alvi, Chairman Senate and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, during which the political situation in the country and the new parliamentary year were discussed.
The prime minster while directing to expedite the legislative process said that we want effective legislation that directly benefits the people.
Imran Khan appreciated the address of President Dr Arif Alvi to the Parliament’s joint session today (Monday).
Earlier, a delegation of heads of Chinese companies also called on the Prime Minister. The delegation appreciated the investor friendly policies of the government. Chinese Ambassador Nong Rang also attended the meeting.
