Cabinet approves names of Rao Sardar as Punjab IG, Kamran Ali Afzal as Chief Secretary
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday has chaired a meeting of Federal Cabinet and approved replacements of Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique and Inspector General Inam Ghani.
According to details, the premier has approved the names of Kamran Ali Afzal as new provincial Chief Secretary and Rao Sardar as IG.
On the other hand, a notification has been issued, stating that Inam Ghani, presently serving as Provincial Police Officer, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General, Pakistan Railways Police, under Railways Division in his own pay and scale with immediate effect.
Earlier, PM Imran Khan and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar decided in a meeting to make the important changes to the Punjab government.
The Establishment Division would soon issue a notification for the new chief secretary and the IGP Punjab.
