Pakistan has so far conducted 18,110,457 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 57 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,182,918. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 26,232 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,613 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 12,066 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,960 in Sindh 5,107 in KP, 874 in Islamabad, 708 in Azad Kashmir, 340 in Balochistan, and 177 in GB.

Furthermore 438,327 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 403,157 in Punjab 165,200 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 100,956 in Islamabad, 32,824 in Azad Kashmir, 32,403 in Balochistan and 10,051 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 18,110,457 coronavirus tests and 57,131 in the last 24 hours. 1,064,319 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,606 patients are in critical condition.
