Pakistan requests access to Afghan envoy's daughter to probe alleged abduction

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has requested Afghanistan to provide access to the ambassador s daughter, embassy and phone data in the alleged abduction case.

According to the details, a statement issued by the Foreign Office on the issue of alleged kidnapping of Afghan envoy’s daughter said that the statement of the Afghan Foreign Ministry and the video of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter were reviewed.

The Afghan delegation was told that the facts did not confirm the statement of the Afghan ambassador s daughter.

Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said he hopes that the Afghan government would provide the required information and access as soon as possible adding the Afghan delegation has been briefed on all the facts related to the ambassador s daughter.

He said the Afghan delegation was given a tour of all the places where the daughter of the Afghan ambassador visited on July 16. The delegation was given a tour of F7, G7, Rawalpindi, Daman-e-Koh, F6 and F9 Park.

The spokesman said the Afghan delegation was shown all the technical data, including geo-fencing. This data was confirmed by the statements of taxi driver.
