Pillion riding to be banned in Karachi on 8th, 9th and 10th Muharram
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh government on Thursday approved a ban on pillion riding in Karachi on 8th of Muharram until Ashura in order to maintain law and order and avoid any untoward incident.
According to a notification issued by the department, the pillion riding will remain banned in the port city on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of Muharram.
However, law enforcement officials, police and Rangers, journalists, the elderly, women and children are exempted from the ban on pillion riding.
