Pak Army reaches heights of Karakoram to honour Ali Sadpara

SKARDU (Web Desk) – Pakistan Army reached heights of Karakoram to honour Pakistan’s hero Ali Sadpara, who buried on the peak of K2.

In a tweet with sharing photo of Pakistan Army officer, Sajid Ali Sadpara, son of Ali Sadpara, thanked Commander FCNA Maj Gen Jawwad Ahmed Qazi for reaching out to K-2 base camp for paying tribute to the national hero. “Pakistan Army is our pride,” he maintained.

“Pak Army reaches heights of Karakoram to honour Ali Sadpara. Thank you Commander FCNA Maj Gen Jawwad Ahmed Qazi for reaching out to K-2 basecamp to meet us and pay tribute to the National Hero. Pak Army is our pride,” Sajid Ali Sadpara tweeted.

Earlier, Pakistani hero Ali Sadpara had been buried on the world’s second highest peak on K2. This was confirmed by Ali Sadpara’s son on the social media micro-blogging website twitter.

Sajid Sadpara informed that he has temporarily buried his father s body in the snow at K2 Camp 4 so that the body can be protected from avalanches etc.

He mentioned that a climber from Argentina helped him a lot in this important mission. He brought the body of Ali Sadpara from the height of bottleneck to Camp 4 with him.

He further said that after burying his father s body, he hoisted the Pakistani flag on it to mark his grave and recited the Holy Quran on behalf of the whole nation.
