Rs28 billion allocated for development projects of Lahore: CM Buzdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that Lahore is a center of economic activities and heart of Pakistan so government has allocated Rs28 billion for development projects in the provincial capital.
Usman Buzdar, in a statement, said that government is starting mega infrastructure projects in Lahore and with completion of underpass at Shahkam Chowk and Gulab Devi Hospital and overhead bridge at Sheranwala Gate, transportation will become hassle free for residents of the metropolis.
The Chief Minister said that his government wants to launch projects that are need of the people. While keeping in mind the water issue, Rs1.5 billion have been set aside for the surface water treatment plant, he added.
