NAB is not here to serve the elite: Chairman

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday said that the anti-graft watchdog and corruption cannot coexist in the country.

Addressing a ceremony, the chairman said that NAB is not here to serve the elite rather it was founded for the masses and asked the critics of the bureau to first know the facts.

Javed Iqbal further said that NAB has recovered Rs533 billion from corrupt elements. He strongly rejected the expression that the anti-graft watchdog creates hurdles for investment in the country and said that NAB has taken every step for betterment of the country and public.
