Rain in Lahore, other parts of Punjab turns weather pleasant
Rain turned weather pleasant in parts of Punjab
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Rain in the provincial capital Lahore and its adjacent areas and other cities of Punjab in the wee hours of Sunday turned the weather pleasant while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Rain with strong wind was also reported in other cities of Punjab including Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala.
The Met department has also forecasted Rain-wind/thundershower in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir. Isolated heavy falls and hailstorm are also likely during the period.
The department warned that wind thunderstorm with heavy falls at times may generate urban flooding in low-lying areas of Azad Kashmir, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala and Sialkot during the spell.
