NA body expresses dissatisfaction over airports security

Sub-Committee of NAs Standing Committee on Defence expressed its concern over airports security.

A meeting of Sub-Committee of National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defence was held in Islamabad under the chair of Sardar Talib Nakai.The committee expressed its concern over the security situation at all airports including Benazir International Airport Islamabad.The Defence Ministry and airports’ security authorities were directed to monitor the security officials appointed at the airports.It suggested imposition of a ban on use of mobile phones during duty hours.The committee concluded that the attack on Mehran airbase was not possible without internal support.
