Ch Nisar takes oath as member Punjab Assembly
Acting Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari administered oath to him.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has taken oath as a member of the Punjab Assembly two years and 10 months after the 2018 general elections.
Acting Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari administered oath to him. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan chose the lobby of government members to enter the House.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the Punjab Assembly, there are separate lobbies for government and opposition members to enter the provincial assembly.
After taking oath, the media representatives tried to talk to Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan but he left the Punjab Assembly due to huge crowd.
On the other hand, Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat said that there is no truth in stopping from taking oath after receiving a phone call.
He said that Chaudhry Nisar is definitely there political opponent but the assembly has its own law.
