COVID-19 vaccination centers in Sindh will remain open during Eid holidays: CM Murad

The CM appealed the people to stay at home and follow SOPs

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Monday has chaired a meeting of anti-coronavirus task force.

During the session, the CM has directed to administer coronavirus vaccine to 0.1 million people across the province on daily basis. Vaccination centers will remain open during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, he told.

The CM also appealed the people to stay at home and take precautionary measures in order to avoid contracting the infection.  

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 16 more patients of coronavirus lost their lives in the province, escalating the death toll to over 4,000 whereas more than 900 new cases were confirmed against over 14,000 tests during the last 24 hours.

According to a statement issued, the CM Murad Ali Shah disclosed that more than 200,000 patients were recovered from the disease including 586 in the last 24 hours.

Murad Ali Shah further stated that the condition of 592 coronavirus patients was stated to be critical.
