Imran Khan put political opponents on blacklist: Marriyum Aurangzeb
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has included the names of his political opponents in the blacklist.
Reacting to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s statement against LHC’s decision to allow Shehbaz Sharif to travel abroad, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Shehbaz Sharif’s name was never on the ECL. Imran Khan added the names of his political opponents in the blacklist. Shehbaz Sharif’s name was included in the blacklist out of a desire for political revenge, she added.
The PML-N spokesperson said that it was illegal for the government to put Shehbaz Sharif’s name in the blacklist, which is usually for terrorists and anti-state individuals.
She said that in view of Shahbaz Sharif’s travel behavior, the court has allowed him to travel once, adding that Imran Khan wants to save his rotten and failed politics by putting the opposition in jails and blacklists.
Responding to Fawad Chaudhry’s statement calling LHC’s permission to Shehbaz to go abroad a mockery of the law, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that not catching the culprits of sugar and flour theft worth billions, BRT Peshawar, Malam Jabba robbery and money laundering of trillions through foreign funding is the real mockery of the law.
