Senate chairmanship: Sadiq Sanjrani meets Asad Qaiser, discusses number game

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has on Monday sped up his political activities ahead of the election.
Sadiq Sanjrani met Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz, Member National Assembly (MNA) Amir Dogar and Punjab Food Minister Aleem Khan to discuss the number game.
It has been learnt that Sadiq Sanjrani apprised the PTI leaders of his contacts with political parties. Other party leaders were also present during Sadiq Sanjrani’s meeting with Asad Qaiser.
On the other hand, a meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is also scheduled today. The opposition alliance is likely to approve candidates for Senate chairman and deputy chairman elections.
