SHC orders arrest of federal finance secretary
SHC was hearing a case regarding delay in promotion of an officer.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday ordered arrest of Federal Finance Secretary in connection with a case regarding promotion of an officer.
As per details, the high court gave order while hearing a case about pending promotion of Inland Revenue Officer for the last seven years.
The SHC said the finance secretary did not submit the reply despite a warning as the court had been seeking an explanation from the secretary since December 15.
