ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has on Friday said that the opponents’ agenda of destabilizing the country will fail, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been given a mandate of five years by public.

The Punjab governor said in his statement that Prime Minister Imran Khan is not like those leaders who get scared by circumstances and he will not retreat from his principle stance against corruption. PTI wants transparency in every matter and the opposition does not want that, he added.

According to sources, Chaudhry Sarwar made contacts with assembly members and also held meetings with them. He will call on PM Imran Khan today, which will be the second time in 24 hours. The governor will stay in the federal capital on Saturday as well and meet parliamentarians.
