Senate polls: Yousuf Raza Gilani hosts dinner for PPP MNAs
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other key PPP leaders attended the dinner.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former prime minister and the joint candidate of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for Senate seat from Islamabad Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on Monday hosted a dinner for the PPP Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) at the Sindh House, Dunya News reported.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other key PPP leaders attended the dinner. The PPP National Assembly members expressed full confidence in Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
According to sources, consultations on the strategy for the Senate elections were held at the gathering.
Yousuf Raza Gilani said that Imran Khan was talking about setting up camp in the parliament due to strong politics of the opposition and added that the PPP believes in democratic struggle.
Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we believe in the political struggle in the parliament. He said that we took other opposition parties into confidence on matter of participating in the by-elections and added that the PTI government was fully exposed after the by-elections.
