Opposition did not provide any evidence of rigging in NA-75 by-poll: Shibli
Shibli Faraz said opposition's allegations regarding rigging in NA-75 are illogical.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said the opposition did not provide any evidence of rigging in NA-75 Daska by-poll and the allegations leveled by it are illogical.
The federal minister talked to media in Islamabad and said the political opponents are using sacks of money for horse-trading in the Senate elections. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) keeps hatching new conspiracies, Shibli Faraz said.
“We are committed to the cause of strengthening democracy by ensuring transparency in elections. PML-N always supported rigging and fraud in elections and damaged the electoral process through corruption.
“Transparent elections are imperative for prosperity of the masses and the country as well. PML-N’s conspiracy against the democracy will be foiled.”
