Land mafias' stance of taking political revenge is baseless: Shahzad Akbar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior and Accountability Shahzad Akbar on Sunday has termed land mafias’ stance of taking political revenge by demolishing their properties as baseless.
Addressing a press conference, the adviser said land worth Rs210 billion has been recovered in two years in Punjab.
Recoveries from 36 leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) including Khurrum Dastagir, Javed Latif, Chaudhry Tanveer, Abid Sher Ali and Khokhar brothers have been made, he told.
Shahzad Akbar said that PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had introduced politics of ‘Changa Manga’.
