ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday has said that politically immature leaders have made opposition ‘hostage’.

In a statement, the minister said that the members of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are so confused that one day they decide to bring no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and the very next day, they make plan of long march and resignations.

The opponents are not ready for electoral reforms, he added.

Earlier, Fawad Chaudhry said that the PDM will keep on delaying its resignations.

He also criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz, saying that she could not even convinced Captain Safdar’s brother to resign.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the opposition’s time is up. Politics has moved forward but they are still stuck in the past. Even the public is not interested in attending opposition protests, he said.

The minister said after every three months, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his company say that the next three months are important.
