18 judges, 267 judicial staffers punished on graft charges.

Registrar Lahore High Court released details of punitive action taken against corrupt element in judiciary. During the last year, 1 session judge, 2 additional session judges and two civil judges were sacked on corruption charges. Annual promotion of one session judge, 2 additional session judges and 9 civil judges were suspended. There was a recommendation for removal of 89 other employees but after the scrutiny 57 were sacked while annual promotion of 210 employees was suspended.
