Shahzad Akbar serves legal notice to Uzma Bukhari over 'defamatory allegations'
PML-N leader has been asked to apologize for her remarks: Shahzad Akbar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar has served a legal notice to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Uzma Bukhari over a statement targeting him.
The SAPM announced this in a tweet, saying that on his instructions, his lawyers have served a legal notice to Uzma Bukhari for her defamatory allegations against him.
He further said that the PML-N leader has been asked to apologize for her remarks or pay Rs500 million in damages.
Earlier, Shahzad Akbar said that his lawyers have served legal notice to another PML-N leader Maryam Aurangzeb for her defamatory statement against him.
