MQM-Ps Amir Khan tests positive for COVID-19

Amir Khan has appealed to masses and the party workers to pray for his early recovery.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Amir Khan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Friday, Dunya News reported.

Amir Khan, Senior Deputy Convener MQM-P, has quarantined himself at his residence and has appealed to masses and the party workers to pray for his early recovery.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has reported 85 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 467,222. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 9,753 on Friday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,152 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
