NLC case: PAC orders action against former army officers

The Public Accounts Committee has ordered action against three retired army officer in NLC scandal.

The action has been ordered against Lt. General (r) Khalid Muneer Khan, Lt. General (r) Muhammad Afzal Muzaffar and Maj. General (r) Khalid Zaheer.According to the sources, the PAC had asked the GHQ to submit National Logistic Cell case report till June 30.After not getting the report the PAC ordered the action officers concerned. The PAC directed the Planning and Development Division to send the reference against the three officers to Secretary Planning and NAB for further investigation.Meanwhile, the PAC accepted the suggestion of Hamid Hassan report with the direction to send a reference against NCL former CFO Saeed ur Rehman to Secretary Cabinet Division.
