Sarfraz murder case: Rangers men seek case in sessions court

Rangers involved in Sarfraz murder case filed a writ petition to transfer case to sessions court.

The complainant and the witness along with their counsel appeared before the court to record statements. However, the defence counsel filed petitions before the judge seeking transfer of case.The Judge of ATC Bashir Ahmad Khoso postponed the hearing for a day. He however rejected the petitions seeking access to investigation report and footage of the incident.The defence lawyers insisted that since the accused were government employees, their case cannot be tried in terrorism court.
