Rains turn weather pleasant in Punjab

Heavy rains with strong winds turned weather pleasant in several cities including Lahore.

According to Met Office, monsoon rains have started as the monsoon winds have entered the upper parts of country with full force.Isolated rains continue in upper Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa and Kashmir.Heavy rains hit different cities including Islamabad Lahore, Faisalabad, Attock, Kasur and Muridke, due to which, low-lying areas were flooded.Meanwhile, rains in different areas of Sindh, including Karachi, are expected in a few days.Met Office forecast that rains are not expected in the city until next week.On the other hand, heat intensity continues in Sukkur and its suburban areas.
