Recovering economy spells trouble for opposition: PM Imran
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the public knows the intentions of the opposition parties. They are propagating the enemy’s narrative for personal gain and we will fight them on every front.
According to details, a meeting of government spokespersons was held under the chairmanship of the PM, in which the narrative of the opposition, economy and upcoming Gilgit-Baltistan elections were discussed.
According to sources, the Prime Minister directed the spokespersons to stay on the front foot with the national narrative. The people now recognize the intentions of the opposition parties, he added.
The Prime Minister said that according to various survey reports, PTI has a clear lead in Gilgit-Baltistan despite the opposition’s campaign trail circus in the recent days.
He said that the opposition politicized issues of national security and propagated the enemy’s narrative for personal gain, we will fight them on every front.
Talking about the economy, Imran Khan said that provincial governments are taking emergency measures to control inflation. The recovering economy and falling flour, sugar prices in the next few days will spell trouble for the opposition, he said.
