Shahram Tarakai takes notice of private dance party in govt school
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Provincial Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai has taken notice of a private dance party that took place in a government school and suspended the school’s head teacher and watchman.
The dance party was held at Government Primary School Chandan Qila on Warsak Road in Peshawar on Sunday. Provincial Education Minister Shahram Khan took stern notice of the illegal event and directed to suspend the head teacher and watchman of the school.
The District Education Officer has issued the notification of suspension of both and appointed the Principal Higher Secondary School as the Inquiry Officer for a transparent investigation into the matter.
The Inquiry Officer has been directed to submit a report within three days. Talking about the incident, Shahram Tarakai said that such programs are disallowed in government schools and strict action would be taken against those involved.
