QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau on Thursday said that there are many threats regarding the rally of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of 11 opposition parties, in Quetta.

Talking to media in Quetta on Thursday, he said that foolproof security would be provided to every political leader attending the rally, adding that the direction have also been issued to the concerned deputy commissioners for security of the PDM leadership travelling by road.

The provincial minister said that the anti-state elements have spent a lot of money for terrorism in Balochistan but our forces have thwarted all their nefarious intentions.

Mir Ziaullah Langau went on to say that the PDM leadership should refrain from inciting the people against the institutions in the rally and should not say anything that would make the enemy happy.

He urged the PDM leadership to ensure implementation of coronavirus SOPs at the rally.

To a question, the provincial minister sad that the plan of the opposition’s rally would be issued tomorrow [Friday].

He urged the opposition not to say anything illegal that would spread hatred. Don t speak against the country and institutions. “There is no threat to the government from the opposition rally,” he added.
