CCPO Lahore verbally abuses woman in alleged audio leak
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An alleged audio recording of CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh has come to light, in which he can be heard verbally abusing a female complainant. In the audio, the CCPO hurls abuses at the woman and forbids her from calling him again. On the other hand, Umar Sheikh has called the leak another conspiracy against him.
According to details, a woman from Raiwind, Naila Bibi, had contacted CCPO Umar Sheikh to plead the case of her husband who had been wrongly accused in a drugs case.
The CCPO lost his patience at her repeated appeals and used inappropriate language for the woman, who promptly hung up the phone.
According to police, a case has been registered against the woman’s husband for selling drugs. The woman filed an application against the relevant sub-inspector on September 30.
On meeting SSP Ibadat Nisar, the woman insisted on meeting the CCPO instead. Following the incident, the woman has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to give her justice.
