Govt employees, health workers protest against govt policies
Government has deployed about 1300 personals with armored vehicles and water cannons.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Government employees, teachers, pensioners, labourers and other associations of workers are protesting today (Wednesday) against the government’s anti-worker policies in front of Parliament House.
As per details, lady health workers are protesting over reservations on upgradation, pension and service structure, while All Pakistan Employees Pensions and Labor Movement is protesting against expected decisions regarding age of retirement, cuts in pensions and other issues.
Government, in an effort to stop protestors from entering the red zone, has deployed about 1300 personals with armored vehicles and water cannons.
