Charging up political landscape, Nawaz Sharif hit back at Zardari for calling him Maulvi Nawaz.

Addressing an election rally in Pulandri, AJK, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif lashed out at “violators of the constitution”. He said Pakistan is going through a critical phase. He warned the country’s sovereignty was at stake and its future could be terrible.On his part, addressing a gathering in Naudero on the 58th birthday anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, President Zardari said: “The politics of Maulvi Nawaz Sharif led to the killing of Benazir Bhutto.”He said the thoughts and conservative mindset of Nawaz Sharif and his political followers are being defeated.In retaliation, Nawaz said the friends of the present government are plundering the country.He lashed out at those who violated constitution and courts. He also alleged government’s connivance with the US on drone attacks.“There is embezzlement of billions in tax revenues. The nation can rid itself of begging bowel if this money is properly used,” he added.He claimed he sacrificed his government for the sake of Kargil. He said neither did he let the Army down in the past nor would he in the future.In Naudero,Zardari said that despite offers by Pervez Musharraf, Punjab government was given to Nawaz Sharif.He said that PML-N was following Ziaul Haq’s ideology whereas the Pakistan People’s Party has opted for political reconciliation.Zardari said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benzair Bhutto sacrificed their lives to save the country.President Zardari said that no country in the world can run without an army.He said that the army was fighting against terrorism and sacrificing their lives while some forces in the country were conspiring to create tension between the soldiers and the generals.Zardari said that he would not let the conspiracy to separate the solider and the generals succeed.
