Six die in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa flooding after rains

Nineteen houses were swept away in flood in Kohistan.

SWAT (Dunya News) – At least six persons were killed on Friday by flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after rains, eight individuals sustained injuries and several houses were damaged.

According to details, drains were flooded in Swat, Upper Chitral, Shagram and Tirat. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) was carrying out rescue operation.

Nineteen houses were swept away in flood in Kohistan and seven persons of a family drowned. Three dead bodies were recovered. Rescue operation was ongoing.
