A case has been registered against the organisers of Pervez Musharrafs public meeting.

Hamid Butt and 50 other supporters of former president Pervez Musharraf were nominated in the First Information Report (FIR) in Tibbi City Police Station of Lahore. The people were accused of violating the amplifier act and blocking a road for Musharraf’s public meeting.Earlier, Musharraf announced that he would return to the country on March 23 next year in his video address to the public gathering.He said that All Pakistan Muslim League was the only political party that could steer the country out of crisis. He said that the Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were playing a game of ping pong between them and if the people allowed them to continue playing this game, they would have to suffer. He said that the PML-N was levelling baseless charges against him related to Kargil.
