Fourth spell of monsoon rains hits Karachi
Met office has predicted that the spell will continue till Saturday in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The fourth spell of monsoon rains on Thursday has lashed Karachi amid National Disaster Management Authority’s (NDMA) drive to clean nullahs in the metropolis.
According to details, light rain has been recorded in Gulshan-e-Maymar, Gulberg and their adjoining areas. Met office has predicted that the spell will continue till Saturday.
On the other hand, NDMA has cleaned 80 percent Gujjar nullah, 85 percent Korangi nullah and Mowach Goth nuklla by 75 percent so far.
Meanwhile, Karachi people are facing electricity load shedding due to tripping of two units at Bin Qasim Power Plant.
