Senators of various political parties denounced the US drone attacks in the tribal areas.

Speaking on a point of order in the Senate, leader of the opposition Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri said that despite the two joint resolutions of parliament against drone strikes, they were continued.He said that the government should tell the nation why the tribal areas had been left on the mercy of NATO attacks?Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Mushahidullah Khan said that the government had failed to stop drone attacks so the government should be condemned, instead of drone attacks.Pakistan People’s Party Senator Raza Rabbani said that the US was ignoring Pakistani parliament’s resolutions, which was condemnable.He said that the national security meeting would be called soon to discuss the situation.
