Park Lane reference: NAB court to indict Asif Zardi on July 6 through video link
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Former President Asif Ali Zardari, Anwar Majeed and other accused will be indicted on July 6 through video link in the Park Lane reference.
In this regard, Director General (DG) of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh Najaf Mirza has formed three prosecution teams. Asif Ali Zardari will be charged in Bilawal House Karachi. The prosecution team will be headed by Shahbaz Sahotra.
According to the NAB court, Anwar Majeed will be indicted in the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). The prosecution team will be headed by Sohail Khan. In addition, accused Farooq Abdullah, Sher Ali and Saleem Faisal will be indicted in Karachi.
The prosecution team in Karachi will be headed by Raja Muhammad Ali. Director General NAB Sindh has informed Judge Abdul Ghani Soomro, Administrator of NAB Courts, about the order of NAB Court Islamabad. The presiding judge has appointed court officials for the video link in all the three places.
