Meeting convened on Saturday on issue of NAB Amendment Ordinance
Asad Qaisar, Dr Babar Awan, Pervez Khattak, Shahzad Akbar and Asad Umar will attend the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A high level meeting on the issue of NAB Amendment Ordinance has been convened on Saturday to review the Constitutional issues in regard to the ordinance, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar, Adviser on Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar and Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar will attend the meeting.
According to sources, the meeting will review the proposals of legal experts while consultation will also be held to have contact with the opposition leaders and coalition parties on this issue.
The sources also revealed that a high level committee will make suggestions for liaison with opposition parties. Asad Qaisar, Babar Awan and Pervez Khattak are members of the said committee.
