PM made major cabinet changes in light of investigation report: Shahbaz Gill
Further action will be taken against all responsible for the crisis
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Spokesman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Dr Shahbaz Gill has said that in light of the revelations made in the sugar crisis investigation report, Prime Minister Imran Khan has made several changes in the Federal Cabinet.
He expressed these views in a tweet and later while speaking exclusively to Dunya News, saying that these decisions were taken in the larger interest of the country and history will remember this decision as a brave move.
Dr. Shahbaz Gill said that Minister Food Security has been made to resign and further action will be taken against all responsible for the crisis once the final report is made public.
Answering a question, he said that leaders of opposition parties could have never taken such a step, only Imran Khan is capable of taking hard decisions.
He said that Jahangir Tareen knows that the Prime Minister seeks advice but his decisions are always independent. He also said that this decision could possibly hurt the party but Imran Khan took the principle decision regardless of its repercussions.
