Balloting for Govt Hajj scheme announced
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced results of balloting for government Hajj scheme. Pakistan’s quota for this year has been fixed at 179,000 including 107,526 under the Government Hajj Scheme and 71,684 through Hajj Group Organizers.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that unsuccessful applicants in balloting continuously for the last three years will automatically be declared successful, while age limit for senior citizens has been reduced to 79 from 80.
Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that the successful applicants will have to submit their medical certificate to respective banks by March 19.
