Doctors strike: Five patients die without treatment in Quetta

Five patients have lost their lives without getting any treatment due to doctors strike In Quetta.

After protests in Punjab, doctors in Balochistan also formed Young Doctors Association in Quetta and started the token strike on April 9 to press for their demand of pay raise. They started complete boycott of government hospitals from May 20 and so far young doctors’ protest has caused five deaths in different hospitals of Quetta.On the other hand, the Balochistan government sacked 66 doctors of Civil Hospital and 61 doctors of BMC hospital. Meanwhile the Public Service Commission Balochistan has asked successful doctors to report immediately.
