This recommendation was proposed during steering committee meeting headed by additional chief secretary and awaits final approval by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.

All citizens including students and the elderly would be able to benefit from BRT and to facilitate them further, it was suggested that passengers should be taught how to use the ticket system by deploying interns or volunteers at each stop.

The meeting was also informed that out of the 74 applications received for the position of permanent CEO of BRT project, 19 candidates fulfilled all requirements.
