ECP: Parliamentary body notification issued

The FATA representation in parliamentary committee ended.

The National Assembly Secretariat on Tuesday issued a notification for the formation of a new parliamentary committee to work on the restructuring of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).The representation from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) has been ended while Zahid Hamid has been included in the committee in place of Amir Muqam to represent the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid.On the other hand, Ghayas Mela has replaced Muneer Orakzai and Raja Zafarul Haq replaced Haroon Akhtar in the committee. The new parliamentary committee will meet tomorrow.
