According to information, young doctors are on strike for more than a month to press for their pay raise. The provincial government on Monday sacked 66 doctors and ordered senior doctors to report in hospitals for duty. But no senior doctor turned up in OPDs and operation theatres today. According to reports, patients in different hospitals of the city are facing hardships due to absence of doctors. Meanwhile, young doctors have convened a general body meeting today to discuss the future strategy.
